Nordschleife – bridge to gantry

Information about the Nordschleife (Green Hell) and the Grand Prix circuit of the Nürburgring:

For decades, the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring has fascinated racing drivers and dedicated leisure drivers worldwide. The high demands on the driving skills and the considerable risk that one always has on board during a lap on the Nordschleife have earned this racetrack the nickname “Green Hell”.

In combination with the Nordschleife and the GP circuit, the Nürburgring is today the longest permanently equipped race track in the world. The VLN long-distance races and the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race are also held on this circuit. Otherwise the Nordschleife is available for test drives, driver trainings or tourist drives.

On these pages you will find tips and information about the legendary Nordschleife and the newer Grand Prix circuit of the Nürburgring: Course, maps of the race tracks, ideal line, tourist drives, vehicles and equipment, behaviour on the race track, safety information, motorsport events, facilities in the vicinity, history, track data, lap times and much more.
