Information and overview about the Nürburgring Nordschleife (Green Hell):

The current course of the Nürburgring Nordschleife – also called Green Hell – stretches over a total of 20.8 km (12,9 miles). Altogether the Nordschleife consists of 73 curves and ascents of up to 18 %, as well as sections with a gradient of up to 11 %. This makes the Green Hell one of the most demanding racetracks in the world.

Over time, the various sections of the Nordschleife have been given names and designations that are already legendary today. For example, expressions such as the Quiddelbacher Höhe, the Schwedenkreuz, the Fuchsröhre, the Adenauer Forst, the Kesselchen, the Brünnchen or the Döttinger Höhe are well known to many motorsport enthusiasts.

The track overview provides an overview of the entire Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. It contains all the official names of the different sections as well as the unofficial and previously used names for individual sections or curves.

The elevation of the Nürburgring Nordschleife is a special feature of this demanding racetrack. The approximately 300 meter (984 ft) difference in altitude between the highest and the lowest point of the Nordschleife leads to gradients of up to 18% and the gradients of up to 11%.
